EXS101: Introduction to Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Physical Education (Sawyer)

This guide was designed to support students enrolled in EXS101, however, others researching exercise science might also find the content useful.  Here is the basic format:  

• Find Keywords and Subject Terms -- Information that defines databases, keywords and subject terms.  
• Find Books -- Information to explain how to access electronic and physical books, including reference books.  
• Find Scholarly (Academic) Journal Articles -- Information to explain what scholarly journal articles are and how to access them through the GCC Library.

• Find & Compare a Magazine Article and the Original Research Article it References - Information to explain how to find and compare a magazine article to the original research article it references.
• Find a research study published in the last 12 months - Information to explain how to find a research study that has been published in the last 12 months.
