Reference books are tertiary sources of information (meaning they summarize the work of both primary and secondary sources). They include such resource types as dictionaries, handbooks and encyclopedias. They are the first place researchers should start any project since they provide an overview of topics as well as keywords and avenues to further explore.
The library provides e-books that can be accessed from on or off campus. You can search the library catalog for e-books by selecting that radio dial (see the Search for Books box below) or you can search our e-book database directly.
