ENG101/102: First-Year Composition (Walk)

This guide is intended to support Health Science students enrolled in ENG101 & ENG102.

What are reference books?

Reference books are tertiary sources of information (meaning they summarize the work of both primary and secondary sources). They include such resource types as dictionaries, handbooks and encyclopedias. They are the first place researchers should start any project since they provide an overview of topics as well as keywords and avenues to further explore.
