
Students, faculty, and staff members at the Glendale Community campus now have free access to The New York Times daily with some historic content available as well. Access includes the main news web site and The New York Times in Higher Education site for instructors. Access is through a subscription provided by the GCC Libraries. You must sign up for an account with the New York Times to access it, selecting Glendale Community College (AZ) as your campus. Student will have free access until they graduate; accounts for faculty and staff last 4years upon which time you re-register with NYT.
The New York Times web site covers a variety of topics with through breaking news articles, blogs, videos and interactive features. In addition, you will be able to share content on social networks, save articles of interest, subscribe to email newsletters and set up personalized alerts. Your access to The New York Times web site is available from any location, on or off campus as well as through an app which can be downloaded onto your personal device.
