These research sources and methods of searching will help with your presentations this semester.

Class Session 9/24/24

ACTIVITY 1 

a) Locate background information of use to you for your GCC Values presentation. Provide an example ONE of the following sources below:  

b) Padlet:  Share one source you found that you might use in your speech (URL), briefly describe what you learned, along with your initials on this Padlet page under activity 1.

ACTIVITY 2

a)  Use OneSearch or the OneSearch FIND ARTICLES tab to locate a useful resource on  a persuasive topic of interest (or your values speech, should you want to try).  If you can't think of anything to search, try safety and self driving cars.  

b)  Padlet: Share the URL from one source you found you might use in a persuasive paper on self driving cars and safety (or another topic of interest to you), why you chose the source you did,  and your initials on this Padlet under activity 2.

ACTIVITY 3

a) Use Google limiting to site:.edu  or site:.gov to locate credible information for either your values speech OR on a persuasive or informative topic such as driverless cars and safety.  

b) In the Padlet,  add the URL to one source you might use for your work, why you chose it, and your initials.
