The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting Paraprofessional program is designed to provide a sound background in fundamental accounting skills for individuals planning to enter the field at the paraprofessional level. Possible entry-level positions for this program include accounting clerk, accounts payable/receivable clerk, claims clerk, credit clerk, full-charge bookkeeper, accounting intern, or comparable positions.

The Associate in Business General Requirements (ABus-GR) degree is designed for students
who plan to transfer to Arizona’s public universities into majors that articulate with the
Associate in Business General Requirements pathway and for students who plan to complete
lower division course work toward a baccalaureate program at other degree granting
institutions.
