ChatGPT

ChatGPT, the OG AI Chat system.  Really good at writing and reasoning questions. 

• Capabilities:  Factual questions (up to January 2022), writing, coding, brainstorming. 
• Limitations: Little connection to internet (in free version).  Data ends January 2022.

Google Gemini

Google created their own AI Chat system.

• Capabilities: Factual questions, writing, coding, brainstorming, summarizing, some connections to Internet. 
• How to Access:  Go to link above and log in with a personal gmail account (can't be Maricopa account).

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft created their own AI Chat system as a part of their Microsoft Edge browser.

• Capabilities: Factual questions, writing, coding, brainstorming, summarizing, image creation, some connections to Internet. 
• How to Access:  Go to Microsoft Edge browser and click on the Copilot icon in the upper right.

Claude

Good all-around chat system.

• Capabilities: Factually questions, writing, summarizing, can upload PDF's and other documents for review.

Consensus

A chat system focused upon scholarly research articles.

• Capabilities:  Summarizes scholarly research on questions and gathers information as to whether or not a scientific consensus has been reached on the topic.

ChatPDF

A chat system where you can upload PDF's and interact with them.

• Capabilities: Upload PDF's and have chat summarize and answer questions about it.

Perplexity

A chat system utilizing ChatGPT and Claude with some connections to the internet.

• Capabilities: Capable of general chat features, summarizing, with some connections to Google.

Poe

A meta chat service that brings together multiple different chat technologies you can search.

• Capabilities: Poe contains a wide range of different AI Chat systems with a different capabilities.  Poe also allows you to create a custom AI Chat system of your own.  For example, I created this AI Mark Twain Chat Bot that allows me to have conversations with an AI version of Mark Twain.
