Request Articles Through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Do you need access to a copy of a book or article that doesn't appear available at GCC Library? If so, you may request an interlibrary loan.

 

First, sign up for a free Iliad account, using the link below.

 

GCC Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

 

  • For copies of journal articles, complete the request form using the "photocopy" section.
  • Provide as much information as possible, but most essentially: the journal name, the volume and issue of the journal, and the title of the article.
  • For book requests include, title, author, date of publication, and edition information (if applicable).
  • Ask a librarian to help you, if necessary. Incomplete information will delay processing.
  • When your article arrives, you will find it in your Iliad account under "Electronically Received Articles." You will have access to this article for only 30 days so be sure to print or save.
  • For books requests, please allow a minimum of two weeks as these tend to take longer to receive than articles.
