PubMed indexes both open access and subscription based health and medicine journals. Use the Clinical Queries link to find Systematic Reviews, Meta-analyses, and more. You do not need an MEID and password to login. However, you may find some subscription content available using GCC's Journal Finder tool.
The following GCC Library databases provide comprehensive scholarly and clinical resources to health care professionals. When available use the database filters to limit your search, for example to Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analysis, Evidence Based Practice, Scholarly/Peer Reviewed Journals, other. MEID and password are required for off-campus access.
In the links provided below, you will be able to access the abstracts at no charge. Some journals may even give you the full article at no charge. If you are interested in reading the full article try using the GCC Library Journal Finder to see if the library subscribes to the journal. If the journal (or article) is not accessible, please contact your instructor, or submit an interlibrary loan (ILL) request, and we will make it available!
